The ancient bridge is a unique historical and cultural resource. Ben Chu ancient bridge has many characteristics such as early origin, large quantity and full range, resulting from the demand of social development, the influence of foreign culture and entertainment habits, and the inheritance of Fengshui theory. There are tons of bridges, bridge monuments and bridge poems which are evidences for a cultural development research of Qingshui river basin in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
