摘要
"顺译"原则是英汉同声传译中的一项基本原则。乔姆斯基的经济性原则和吉尔的精力分配模式为"顺译"原则提供了强有力的理论基础。英汉语言结构,口译交际特点等因素使得"顺译"原则在英汉同声传译中得以实施。在顺译原则的基础上,译员往往会根据情况选择断句,词类转换,增补,重复,反译等技巧,将原语信息自然快速通顺地传递出去。
The principle of Syntactic Linearity is a basic principle in English-Chinese simultaneous interpretation. Chomsky＇ s Economy Principles and Gile＇ s Effort Model have provided a reasonable theoretical foundation for it. And the factors such as the language structure of English and Chinese, the communicative features of interpretation, and so on, have made the principle of Syntactic Linearity applicable in simultaneous interpretation. Based on this principle, the interpreters choose among a variety of techniques, such as segmentation, conversion, addition, repetition, etc., to convey the original information to the audience quickly, naturally and smoothly.
