摘要
字幕翻译是国内优秀影视剧走出国门传播中国文化的重要途径。本文以目的论为理论基础,探讨了其中三个原则,即目的原则、忠实原则和连贯原则在美版《甄嬛传》字幕英译中的体现,以期对字幕翻译及其研究有所裨益。
Subtitle translation is one of the key methods for Chinese movies and televisions going outside to the world and culture communication. This paper mainly discusses the C-E subtitle translation from the viewpoint of Skopos theory, employing the translation of the TV series Empresses in Palace as an example. The embodiment of the three principles of Skopos Theory is analyzed, namely Skopos rule, coherence rule and fidelity rule. Hopefully, the study may benefit subtitle translation and related studies.
