Three publications of Anthony C.Yu have been translated into Chinese by his student LI Shixue,which are Rereading the Stone:Desire and the Making of Fiction in Dream of the Red Chamber,Commentary on Journey to the West by Anthony C.Yu,and Dream of the Red Chamber,Journey to the West and others.His thoughts on redology can be basically found in Rereading the Stone:Desire and the Making of Fiction in Dream of the Red Chamber.The book systematically illustrates the fictional property of Dream of the Red Chamber from an academic perspective,on the other hand,it fully utilizes the diversified theoretical methods of European and American literature.The book has been so widely concerned by the community of humanities and social sciences that it has brought Anthony C.Yu a leading position in the field of redology in America.The influence of the book is not confined in neither the European-American academic community,nor the field of redology,which underlines the paradigmatic significance of the research achievements of Anthony C.Yu.
