肥胖是一种由多因素引起的体内脂肪数量增多和脂肪细胞体积的异常增大而致体脂占体重百分比异常增高的慢性代谢性疾病。肥胖的相关记载最早可以追溯至《黄帝内经》时期,古代医家对肥胖的病因病机以及病位、相关疾病都有较深刻的认识;现代中医研究则从辨证论治的角度出发,从证型、证候,外在症状等方面对肥胖进行了更为系统深入的研究。
