Application of Mass spectrometry in detection of nucleic acids

摘要 生物质谱技术为核酸分析提供了一个高通量、高灵敏、准确、自动化的平台。以质谱为基础的引物延伸分析法和碱基特异裂解分析法能够灵活地用于基因型检测、群体中等位基因分布频率以及基因定量表达等多种目的,在多种严重疾病、无创产前诊断、流行病监测等多个领域应用中扮演着越来越重要的角色。 Mass spectrometry based technique has provided a platform for analyzing nucleic acids with advantages of high throughput,sensitivity,accuracy and automation. The primer extension assay and MS-based primer extension strategy are highly flexible and can be employed for multiple purposes,such as genotype ,allele frequency in popula- tion and quantitative gene expression analysis. It also has been applied to identify several fetal diseases and will play an increasingly important role in non-invasive prenatal diagnosis and epidemiological surveillance.
