《世界报》视野下的西班牙媒体新疆观透视

The View of Xinjiang in the Mainstream Media of Spain from the Perspective of El Mundo

新疆问题是国外学者对中国边疆问题研究中不可或缺的重要一环,在海外媒体的时政报道中也频繁出现。其中,西班牙媒体涉及新疆问题的报道不仅折射出该国传媒界对中国内部民族事务的态度,也在一定程度上影响拉丁美洲以西班牙语为官方语言的18个国家民众对该问题的理解。以近16年来涉及新疆问题的报道和社论为切入点,对西班牙影响力最大、国民度高的《世界报》进行考察,并与英、美媒体对新疆问题的报道进行对比,进而深度剖析西班牙主流媒体的新疆观,可以在以《世界报》为代表的西班牙语媒体新疆观对改变我国在世界舆论格局中的弱势地位、打破西方大国对国际传媒的垄断、获得国际话语权等方面有一定的参考价值。

The issue of Xinjiang is an indispensable part of the study of China＇s Borderlandby foreign scholars. It also appears frequently in the current political reports on overseasmedia. Among them, Spanish medias＂ reports about Xinjiang issue not only reflect their atti-tude about Chinese internal ethnic affairs, but also affect the understanding about this issueof the 18 countries in Latin America. This paper regards E1 Mundo, the most influentialnewspaper in Spain, as the object of investigation comparing with British and Americanmedia reports, depth profiling Spanish mainstream media＇s conception of Xinjiang. It drawsa conclusion that studying on Spanish media＇s conception of Xinjiang is significant to changethe weak position of our country in the pattern of world public opinion, break the monopo-ly of the Western powers to the international media, and obtain the right to speak.
