Research on Seals Collection in Changyangshi and Shen Shizhen

《昌羊室印存》保存了张燕昌、文鼎、钱善扬、孙三锡、张上林、杨大受等清代嘉兴印人的精彩之作。谱中三十多方张廷济和郭麐的自用印,大多不见于今天的公开出版物。研究和发掘《昌羊室印存》的文献价值,不仅可以一窥晚清以来金石收藏和印谱出版的蛛丝马迹,还能够帮助进一步了解清代嘉兴印人对篆刻艺术的传承与探索。

Seals Collection in Changyangshi preserves masterpieces of artists from the Jiaxing School in Qing Dynasty like Zhang Yanchang, Wen Ding, Qian Shanyang, Sun Sanxi, Zhang Shanglin, Yang Dashou, etc. The collection includes over thirty private seals of Zhang Tinji and Guo Lin, rarely seen in publications today. From the research on the value of Seals Collection in Changyangshi ,we can observe the signs of epigraphy collection and seal books publishing since the late Qing Dynasty and learn more about inheritance and exploration in seal cutting made by artists from the Jiaxing School in the Qing Dynasty.
