Overwork and Its Management in the Transition into a High-Income Country——Comment on“China Labor Market Development Report 2014”

本文简要介绍了《2014中国劳动力市场发展报告》的核心内容与政策贡献。报告有三方面的内容值得重点关注,一是工业化过程中的工作时间演变规律,二是中国劳动者工作时间的配置特征与问题,三是中国过度劳动问题的治理对策。中国经济发展进入新常态阶段,该报告为缓解中国过度劳动、实现体面就业和高质量就业提供政策参考。此外,本文还讨论了进一步的研究方向。

This paper introduces the core content and policy contributions of the ＂China Laber Market Development Report 2014＂. Three aspects of the report are worth paying attention to. The report shows not only the trend of working hours in the process of industrialization,but also depicts the configuration features and overwork problems of working hours in China,as well as the policy series. As China＇s economy enters the ＂new normal ＂phase,the report makes important contributions to easing overwork,achieving decent employment and high quality employment. In addition,this paper also discusses the future research prospects.
