Reverse Offshoring:Theoretical Origin,Discipline Frontier and Path Innovation

一种参与全球化竞争的新型战略——"逆向外包",正在发展中国家悄然兴起并进入学者们的视线。本文通过对逆向外包相关研究文献的梳理,比较系统地总结了其理论源起与前沿进展。研究发现,逆向外包不仅拓展了外包理论的研究领域,而且也为中国、印度等发展中大国提供了一条主动参与全球化竞争、实现价值链高端攀升的战略新路径。

A new strategy for global competition,namely ＂reverse offshoring＂,is rising quietly and arousing the interest of scholars in the developing countries.This paper reviews the related literature about reverse offshoring,then summarized the theoretical origin and progress of the theoretical frontiers systematically.From literature research,reverse offshoring not only expands the research field of outsourcing literatures,but also offers the developing countries,such as China and India,a new way to participate in global competition and upgrade the global value chain.
