Reflections on the New Media Sieging Jia Pingwa's Novel Ji Hua under the Cultural Studies

贾平凹以拐卖妇女为主题的长篇小说《极花》关切农村的凋敝存亡,城乡的贫富差距,反感强大的现代性话语的压迫,不认为农村是工业化、现代化、城市化进程的一个需要摆脱的包袱,一个需要摘除的毒瘤。对盘剥农村、排斥农民、污名化农民的行为以及背后的社会结构性原因,他有深切熟虑的思考,而不仅仅停留在对被拐妇女的同情与对加害者行为的控诉上,这是他遭遇道德审判的根本原因。

Since Jia Pingwa＇s novel Ji Hua as the theme of trafficking in women was published,media criti- cized it with the encirclement and suppression. Jia Pingwa cares about the starvation and survival of rural, urban--rural gap of weath, dislikes the oppression of strong modernity discourse,and he doesn＇t think we need to get rid of the rural as the burden of industrialization, modernization and urbanization, remove it as the tumor of our body. He has a deep consideration of the behavior which exploitated rural, rejected, stig- matized and discriminated against farmers as well as the structural reasons behind it, not just stayed at the sympathy with the abducted woman and complainting inflicter action, this is the basic reason of the moral criticism which he suffered.
