Cause Analysis and Improving Measures Study on the Curve Bridge Overturning

基于近年来若干桥梁在超载车辆作用下的倾覆事件,分析了桥梁倾覆破坏的原因,提出了倾覆破坏的机理是结构恒载的抵抗力矩和活载倾覆作用力矩的平衡,并探讨了倾覆影响因素。最后总结了弯桥抗倾覆的设计方法和管养措施。

Based on some recent events of curve bridge overturning under heavy trucks, the reasons of curve bridge overturning is analyzed in a detail way. The mechanism is proposed as the balance of resistance moment induced by bearings reactions and loading moment induced by live load, and the influence factors on the curve bridge overturning are further discussed. Finally, the design methods and maintenance strategies are summarized for the curve bridge.
