数字测图技术在林业生产方面的应用,早年已有试验性尝试,但限于仪器成本、软件自动化程度及生产人员知识水平等因素,数字测图技术在林业方面的应用多停留在科研层面,与生产实际应用仍有较大距离。近年来,由于先进测绘仪器设备逐渐普及,较高专业技术人才充实到林业管理与生产单位等因素,使数字测图技术服务于林业生产,为数字林业及林业3S(GPS+GIS+RS)提供可靠数据源成为可能,并成为我国林业技术发展的新趋势。

But limited to the equipment cost, the application of digital mapping technology in forestry mostly stays at the scientific research level, there are still a distance from actual production application. In recent years, advanced instrument of surveying and mapping equipment have been gradually popularized. Constantly have higher professional and technical personnel enrich forestry management and production unit and other advantages, which make digital mapping service forestry production, provide possibilities to the digital forestry and forestry 3S （ GPS, GIS and RS） and become the new trend of development of the forestry in China.
