In order to meet the social demand for electricity supply, improve the quality and the safety, application of power electronic technology is the inevitable choice. Promotion and application of power electronic technology in the distribution network can effectively improve the stability of power grid and improve power transmission capacity and transmission quality, to provide more support and protection for the continuous growth of the national economy. Application of the power electronic technology in power distribution network is analyzed and reasonable measures are put forward by grasping technical essential point from various perspectives in this paper.
