摘要
英语是一种国际化的语言,从本质属性出发,英语具备语言最基本的作用就是一种交流的工具和思维的载体.在大学公共英语教学中,判断一个学生的英语能力一般都是从听、说、读、写这四个方面来评判,但是在现实的大学公共英语教学过程当中,非英语专业学生英语口语能力的表现与阅读、听力和写作这三个方面的能力相比往往存在明显的差距.本文针对中国非英语专业大学生公共英语口语学习的现状进行研究,找到公共英语口语教学中的问题所在,提出行之有效的解决策略.
As an international language, English, b y nature, is basically a tool for communication and a carrier of thoughts. In college English teaching, students5 language proficiency is often measured in terms of listening, speaking, reading and writing. While in real college English teaching, non- English-major students5 oral English proficiency usually lags notably behind their reading, listening and writing performance. T h e paper conducts a study of the status quo of oral English learning among non- English-major students in China’s colleges and universities, identifies existing problems, and puts forward effective solutions and strategies.
