For the ship, the diesel engine is an important mechanical equipment to provide power.In order to be able to make the ship safe and normal navigation, it must monitor the ship diesel engine and timely detect the existing failures and develop so- lutions.This paper mainly analyzes the diesel engine monitoring and fault diagnosis technology,and introduces the characteristics and shortcomings of diesel engine fault classification and fault diagnosis method.
