Transcending History: a Research on Literary Works in Yue Hua

《月华》是现代回族刊物的丰碑。单就文学而言,《月华》发表的文学作品体裁多种多样、题材丰富广阔、语言特色鲜明以及作者、读者的队伍空前扩大等,都实现了对历史的超越。本文通过对《月华》文学作品体裁的变迁、主题的嬗变与民族意识的觉醒等方面的分析,探讨了《月华》对回族现代文学发展所起的积极作用,对于研究近现代报刊与回族文学有重要的学术价值。

Yue Hua is a monument of modem Hui journals. In terms of literature, the articles published in Yue Hua have had various literary genres, enriched themes, unique language styles and unprecedented amount of writers as well as readers, which surpassed all those of its past. This essay discusses the positive effect which Yue Hua has made for the development of Hui modem literature, and significant academic value to the study of journals and Hui literature in modem times by analyzing the transformation of the literary genres, the themes and the awakening of na- tional consciousness of the articles published in Yue Hua,etc.
