《中国图书馆分类法》(第5版)通过新增类目、修改类名对类目体系进行了调整和完善,通过增改注释内容补充了新主题、新概念,增强了类目主题对新学科的容纳性;但仍存在一些不足,如对一些新技术、新问题缺乏超前意识,还需要对一些类目注释、参见类目做进一步的修订和完善。

Chinese Library Classification（the Fifth Edition）adjusts and perfects the category system by adding new categories and modifying class names,adds new themes and new concepts by adding and changing the annotation content,enhances the inclusion of subject matter to the new discipline. However,there are still some shortcomings,such as the lack of advanced consciousness to some new techniques and problems,also need to revise and perfect some category notes and categories.
