This paper introduces the repair work for a collection of hand-written local drama scripts of the late Qing dynasty and early Republic of China that have been preserved in Gansu Provincial Library,discusses the craft and process of the repair work through the case analysis,and compares the differences before and after restoration. This case analysis can provide reference for the restoration of such ancient books.
