赤峰市巴林左旗南山窑遗址发掘简报

Brief Report on the Excavation of the Nanshanyao Site of Bairin Left Banner,Chifeng City

2013年8-10月,内蒙古自治区文物考古研究所等单位对辽上京汉城南城墙外古河道及南山窑遗址进行了抢救性考古发掘。出土遗物主要有建筑构件以及陶器、瓷器、铁器、骨器、石器、铜钱、烧瓷窑具及大量动物骨骼。从地层和遗迹遗物等信息判断,该遗址为辽代中晚期生活聚落遗址。

From August to October 2013, a joint archaeological team that consisted of Institute of Cuhural Relics and Archaeology of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Liao Shangjing Museum and Bairin Left Banner Cuhural Relics Conservation and Management Station excavated the Nanshanyao Site. The total excavation area of this site is 1058 square meters, and the major findings include 5 houses, 19 ash pits and 2 ash ditches. There are abundant building components, pottery, porcelain, iron, bone, stone tools etc. unearthed from the site, which date is during the middle and late stage of Liao dynasty. These discoveries provide very important materials to the study of Liao Shangjing city.
