Railway transportation is more and more popular with many advantages such as convenience,fastness and economy.At the same time,due to the impact of lightning,the electronic signal equipment brings hidden danger to the safety of railway operation,and this problem is gradually attracting attention.This paper analyzes the influence of lightning on the normal operation of signal equipment and the harm caused by the lightning operation in the railway system,and explains the significance of applying lightning protection measures in the railway system to ensure the normal operation of the signal equipment.It aims to strengthen the supervision of lightning protection of railway signal equipments,to improve the quality of the overall operation of the railway system.
