The cultural interaction between China and South Asia can be traced back to ancient times, which left many valuable historical records in ancient classics from which we can inspect the relations between Chinese culture and South Asia. Since modern times, there have appeared many research results on such cultural exchange.By analyzing these historical records, related academic writings and research results, this article tries to throw some light on their implications.
