There are 28 works in the Bavarian State Library which were published by Hoi Tong Monastery from the beginning of the Qing dynasty to the Jiaqing period, and brought to Europe by Karl Friedrich Neumann in 1830.These works are mostly reprints or imitation versions from the Jiaxing Tripitaka. The authors were mainly the famous monks in the Ming and Qing dynasties, some of whom came from the Hoi Tong Monastery. Among them, only a few are non-Buddhist works. After the middle of the Qing dynasty, a part of Hoi Tong Monastery's publication was printed by bookshops. The cost of printing was mostly paid by the monks of Hoi Tong Monastery through self-financing, and it seems that this practice increased year by year.
