唐代条砖印痕分析

On the Imprinted Marks of the Rectangular Bricks of the Tang Dynasty

唐代无论建筑还是墓葬都大量出土多为青灰色的条砖和方砖,以往提及条砖底面纹饰多集中于样式分类,鲜见对其出现原因和使用工具的分析,本文通过分析唐代条砖上出现的多样印痕,着重阐述对其制作方法和功用的认识。

From the architectural remains and burials of the Tang Dynasty, large amounts of gray pottery bricks in rectangular or square shapes are unearthed. In the past, the studies on the imprints on the bottoms of the rectangular bricks were mostly concentrated on the classification by forms and types, but seldom on the causes for their appearances and the tools used by the ancient craftsmen to make them. By analyzing the imprints in diversified types on the rectangular bricks of the Tang Dynasty, this paper focuses on the interpretations of their making methods and fimctions.
