《玄应音义》引《说文》考

Study on Xuanyingyinyi Quoting from Shuowen

经逐条比勘后发现，《玄应音义》所引《说文》与今本《说文》异多于同，差异表现在字形、训释、音注上。其中训释上的差异最多。具体看，训释上，《玄应音义》多保存《说文》古义，很多解释优于今传本。字形差异以异体为主。音切上，与大徐本《说文》所用孙悃《唐韵》语音特点较一致。总体上看，《玄应音义》所引《说文》对《说文》研究很有价值，对了解唐代《说文》原貌很有助益，但亦有节引、误引、衍文、脱文等问题，需要具体分析。

The study found that Xuanyingyinyi quoted from Shuowen is different from today. There are some differences on the form, Explanation and pronunciation of the words. The difference of ex- planation is the most. Generally speaking, Xuanyingyinyi quoting from Shuowen is valuable for re- search on Shuowen, and helps to understand the original of Shuowen in Tang dynasty. But there were some problems, which should make a concrete analysis.
