水晶．古人又称水玉、水精等．为石英结晶体，传统列为宝石之一。纯净时形成无色透明晶体．含不同微量元素则呈不同色泽，含伴生矿则称之包裹体水晶．如发晶、绿幽灵等，佛门认水晶为七珍之一。

Crystal, also called as 'water jade' or 'water essence' by the ancients, is a type of quartz crystal. Traditionally, it is regarded as a type of gem. In pure status, it is in the form of colorless transparent crystal. When containing different trace elements, it radiates different colors. When containing associated ore, it is called as inclusure crystal, such as hair crystal and garden crystal. Crystal is recognized as one of seven treasures in Buddhism.
