The excellent performance of environmentally-friendly liquid vat dyes were introduced. According to the characteristics, the dyeing behavior test and comparison of environmental performance were carded out in the laborato- ry. And the dyes were also came to use in the practical production. It was proved by testing that the various indicators of liquid vat dyes product were same to the indicators of regular powdery vat dyes. The liquid vat dyes had excellent dyeing properties and environmental performance, and they also had popularization using value on the situation of transforma- tion and upgrading of energy saving and emission reduction in dyeing and finishing industry.
