大学英语教学改革背景下教师角色现状研究

Study on Teachers' Roles in the Computer-based Language Situation in the Context of College English Teaching Reform

大学英语教师能否转变传统教学观念并在教学过程中适时调整教师角色对于大学英语教学改革的顺利实施起着至关重要的作用。首先对大学英语教学改革背景下的教师角色进行重新定位,然后针对大学英语教师对教师角色的认识、学生对教师角色的期望以及教师在教学中实际扮演的角色进行调查与分析。教师认识与教师行为以及学生期望与教师行为之间均存在较大差异。在分析研究结果的基础上对大学英语教师提出若干建议。

Whether college English teachers are willing to drop their outdated teaching ideas and assume their newroles in the computer - based language situation is vitally important to carrying out college English teaching reform.This paper first outlines the aspects of teachers＇ roles in the context of college English teaching reform, and thenreports an empirical study on college English teachers＇ awareness of their new roles, students＇ expectations of theteachers＇ roles and the real roles that teachers take on. Detailed analysis of the qualitative data leads to the findingthat there is not only a gap between the degree of teachers＇ awareness of their new roles and the real roles they takeon but also a gap between students＇ expectations of teachers＇ roles and the real roles teachers play. Accordingly,the paper offers a number of suggestions in the end.
