基于Vmware平台的Sendmail邮件服务器的配置与实现

电子邮件是最常用的通信方式,Sendmail是Linux系统中使用比较频繁的电子邮件服务器。以Cent OS Linux系统中的Sendmail服务器为例,采用Vmware虚拟机软件搭建实验平台,通过对Sendmail服务器的配置,实现邮件的发送功能,利用Dovecot服务器运行POP3协议,实现用户对电子邮件的收取功能,最终达到使用电子邮件相互通信的目的。

E - mail system is one of the most commonly used in computer＂ s applications. Sendmail is the most fre- quently used e -mail server in Linux system. Taking the Sendmail server in CentOS Linux system as an example, in this paper, Vmware virtual machine software is used to build the experimental platform, the mail forwarding function is realized by configuring the Sendmail server, Dovecot services is used to achieve the POP3 protocol and the userg e - mail collection function, and finally the purpose of using e - mail to communicate with each other is achieved.
