摘要
提出了一种用于表征图像的空间结构描述算子。通过此描述算子,可以将多模图像配准问题简化成单模图像配准问题,从而方便了整个配准的过程。首先,为了探究图像的结构信息,在计量坐标系(gauge coordinate system)下提取了大量的图像几何结构特征。同时,为了引入图像的空间信息,将当前像素附近的邻域像素也考虑其中。然后,依赖于一种改进的主成分分析方法,从大量的有关于图像的结构和空间信息之中,挑选出了最具代表性的信息用于构建与原图大小相同的空间结构描述算子。实验证明,与很多其他的优秀的相似度评价方法相比,基于该描述算子的绝对差值和SAD(sum of absolute difference)方法能更高效地、更稳定地匹配多模图像对。
A spatial structure descriptor for image representation is proposed. With this descriptor, the multi-modal image registration can be simplified to unimodal image registration. First, to exploit the structural information of an image, various features of ge- ometrical structure are extracted. Meanwhile, for incorporating its spatial information, local neighbors of current pixel are taken in- to consideration. Then, depending on an improved principle component analysis method, the most representative component about structureand spaceis extracted. The derived component is used to construct the descriptor of spatial structure which size is the same as the original image. Experiments prove that sum of absolute differencemeasure based on this descriptor align multi-modal image pairs more efficiently and robustly than many other excellent similarity measures.
