摘要
动态系统论已成为国内外应用语言学界的研究热点,其整体论及非线性思想为我们考察语言变异性和复杂性提供了新视角。本文首先论证语言是一个动态系统,二语学习是一个复杂动态过程,然后探讨其在概念、实践、方法论层面的革命性意义,并着重介绍二语发展动态观的国内外研究状况,最后梳理归纳了其贡献和局限性,并对其未来发展前景做出展望,以期进一步丰富国内外这一领域的研究内容,也为研究者进一步开展相关研究提供借鉴。
Dynamic Systems Theory (DST) has become a hot research topic in the field of applied linguistics at home and abroad, for it provides researchers with a brand new holistic and nonlinear perspective in their probe into the variation and com-plexity of language. At the outset, this paper demonstrates that language is a dynamic system and that second language learningis a complex and dynamic process. Then it explores the revolutionary significance of DST in theory, practice and methodologywhile highlighting current domestic and international studies on DST. Finally, the contribution and limitation of DST as well asits future research prospect are presented, aiming to enrich its studies at home and abroad for future reference.
