Research progress of three-dimensional printing technique in foot and ankle surgery

摘要 目的对近年来3-D打印技术在足踝外科的应用进展作一综述。方法查阅近年来国内外关于3-D打印技术在医学领域,尤其是足踝外科应用的相关文献,并进行总结分析。结果 3-D打印技术在足踝部骨折、节段性骨缺损、矫形器、矫形与修复重建方面均有相关应用,并取得良好疗效。但目前缺乏临床随机对照试验进一步明确该技术优势,并且需延长随访观察其中远期疗效。结论 3-D打印技术在足踝外科应用前景广阔,但存在打印材料、打印时间、打印费用、医学伦理以及多学科协作等问题,有待进一步研究解决。 Objective To review the current research progress of three-dimensional (3-D) printing technique in foot and ankle surgery. Methods Recent literature associated with the clinical application of 3-D printing technique in the field of medicine, especially in foot and ankle surgery was reviewed, summarized, and analyzed. Results At present, 3-D printing technique has been applied in foot and ankle fracture, segmental bone defect, orthosis, corrective surgery, reparative and reconstructive surgery which showed satisfactory effectiveness. Currently, there are no randomized controlled trials and the medium to long term follow-up is necessary. Conclusion The printing materials, time, cost, medical ethics, and multi-disciplinary team restricted the application of 3-D printing technique, but it is still a promising technique in foot and ankle surgery.
