贵州苗族女性的民族传统服饰制作精美、工艺繁复,是苗族服饰文化的集中体现,是了解苗族历史与文化的一面镜子,其中蕴含了深厚而丰富的民族文化,其文化功能可以从文化表征、族别标志、评判指标、仪式构成、情感媒介和身份认证等6个方面去解读。

The traditional dress of Miao women in Guizhou Province, which are exquisitely made with complicated workmanship, is the concentrated expression of Miao costume culture and also a mirror of the history and culture of the Miao nationality. The paper interprets the cultural significance of Miao costume from six aspects： cultural representation, ethnic symbol, evaluation index, constitution of ceremony, emotional media and identity authentication.
