On the Historical Logic of the Chinese Dream——The "Four Confidences" and the Realization of the Chinese Dream

中国梦的历史逻辑是民族复兴的近代寻梦、现代筑梦、当代圆梦的接力进程。1840年开始的民族复兴的寻梦历程,是基于深刻民族危机的由救亡图存到民族振兴的艰辛探索,也显示出爱国主义、自强不息的民族精神。1921年以来中国共产党率领人民探索中国道路、理论、制度的现代筑梦历程,展现的是要在民族复兴文化自信基础上确立道路自信、理论自信、制度自信的过程。党的十八大以来在中国特色社会主义发展取得伟大成就的基础之上提出"四个自信",就是要坚持中国特色社会主义道路、理论、制度、文化,实施赶超发达国家战略,实现建国一百周年时建成社会主义现代化国家即进入世界强国行列的民族复兴圆梦目标。

The historical logic of Chinese Dream is the process from searching for the dream in recent times, building the dream in modern times to achieving dream in contemporary time in National Revival. Searching for the dream from 1840 was a hard exploration from the salvation to the rejuvenation which was based on a profound national crisis. The national spirit of patriotism and self-improvement was showed.In the modern history of building the dream that the Communist Party of China led the Chinese people to explore Chinese road, theory and system since 1921, it was showed that, the road confidence, theoretical confidence and systematical confidence should be established on the basis of National Revival and Cultural Self-confidence.Since 18th CPC National Congress was held, on the basis of the great achievements in the development of the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, the ＂Four Confidences＂ has been put forward. It is to adhere to the road, theory, system and culture of the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. It is to implement the Strategy of Catching-up Developed Countries. It is to realize the National Renaissance of building a prosperous, democratic, civilized and harmonious modern socialist country or entering into the ranking of world powers after one hundred anniversary since the New China was founded.
