Nowadays, with the competition intensified in the global shipbuilding, it has become the key factorof success to guarantee both quality and quantity, innovate technology and to lower cost. This paper expounds theseveral development stages of Modular shipbuilding technology, development trend and the application of it incivilian shipbuilding.
