This paper introduced the characteristics of high pressure and rich water karst area, analyzed the measures judgement of specific situa-tion in karst area, taking a practical engineering as an example, from the karst treatment technology, surrounding rock scheme two aspects, elab-orated the key technical measures adopted in the tunnel construction in karst area, so as to improve the construction quality.
