Study on the Theory of Angelica Going Into Stomach Meridian

中药当归是临床常用补血药之一,因肝藏血、心主血、脾统血而归入肝心脾三经。根据当归的归经源流、历代本草沿革及方剂配伍应用发现当归性温味辛甘,具有温胃和中之功,且广泛应用于中医脾胃病。现代研究也表明,中药当归具有调节胃肠动力、保肝利胆、抗消化性溃疡等作用,对消化系统疾病有广泛的药理作用和临床应用,因此提出当归入胃经的观点。当归归入胃经更能全面合理地解释其功效,有利于扩大当归的临床应用。

Angelica is one of the commonly used hematinic Chinese medicine,which roots into the liver, heart and spleen meridians because of liver storing blood, heart governing blood and spleen controlling blood. But according to the origin of angelica＇ s meridian tropism,all previous dynasties materia medica evolution and herbal application, angelica is warm in nature and tastes pungent and sweet, it has the function of warming and harmonizing the stomach and is widely used in the spleen and stomach diseases. In addition, the modern pharmacological research finds that angelica has effects on liver-protection, bile secretion, gastrointestinal motility and peptic ulcer, which can be used in many digestive system diseases. Therefore, the view that angelica goes into the stomach is proposed, which can fully explain its effect and helps to expand the clinical application of angelica.
