多词单位的程式序列研究对外语教学的启示

摘要 本文从Wray(2002)的研究出发重点探讨了多词单位研究的程式序列性及其界定,以及多词单位的程式序列研究对于外语教学的启示。研究表明,程式序列既应体现"程式"的整体性和惯常性,也应体现"序列"的多单位内部结构特征。程式序列本质上是心理的,具有使用的特点。程式序列的外语教学中应注意从语言结构的共选关系分析、块构化及块构能力培养,以及基于(意义)功能整体性的语言输入/出等方面开展显/隐性教学。 This paper, based on Wray (2002)'s study, centers upon the probe into the formulaic sequence of multiple word units (MWU), its definition and its enlightenment for (college) foreign language teaching. The analysis shows that the formulaic sequence should not only comfort to its integral and habitual properties, but also reflect the discernible internal structures of multiple units. Formulaic sequence is in nature psychological while it is usage-based on the other hand. In formulaic sequence-based foreign language teaching, explicit/implicit teaching should be carried out in the following aspects-the co-selection analysis of language structures, chunking, the development of chunking competence, and holistic function-driven language input/output.
