This paper introduces the process of the whole machine roll over of RMG（ Rail-Mounted Gantry Cranes） ,whose principle is that the winch on the ship is used as the traction power to pull the traction point on the lower cross beam to achieve the traction of the whole machine. The paper also points out the problems during the barge and formulates suitable countermeasures.
