On the Combination of Political and Aesthetic Cultivation in Political Education

政治素质和审美修养的提高都是高校思想政治理论课教学的重要目标,因为高校思想政治理论课的任务是要把大学生培养成为政治合格,德、智、体、美全面发展的社会主义事业的接班人。片面地强调思想政治理论课的思想性或审美性都是不对的,因此,运用马克思主义的科学方法正确认识思想性和审美性之间的辩证关系,通过有效途径实现二者的统一,有助于思想政治理论课教学功能的充分发挥和教学任务的实现。

As is well known, higher vocational education aims at training all-round developed talents for socialist cause. So, there is no doubt that college political courses should not only be focused on improving students＇ political quality, but also promoting their aesthetic accomplishment. In order to make full use of educational functions of political courses, scientific methodology of Marxism should be adopted to guarantee the systematical and dialectical relationship between its political quality and aesthetic cultivation. In the end, some effective and practical approaches are put forward to ensure the combination of its political quality and aesthetic cultivation.
