摘要
主动阵列有机发光二极管(AMOLED)面板具有低功耗、视角广、柔韧性等优点,被视为下一代显示技术的关键。但是它通常采用RGBG型像素排列,而图像的像素结构是RGB,为了实现图像的显示,迫切需要研究RGB-RGBG的转换算法。本文提出了一种基于权重因子(BWF)的RGB-RGBG像素结构转换算法,并在现场可编程逻辑门阵列(FPGA)上实现电路。通过对原灰阶进行权重求和,得到各个RGBG子像素的灰阶。这种方法可以将灰阶误差降至最低。此外,彩边效应得到极大的改善。实验结果表明,相比于DA算法,BWF算法处理所得图像的PSNRU和PSNRV分别提高了9.2%和9.3%,MSE比DA算法降低19.5%。该算法研究通过FPGA验证,结果表明,BWF处理后的图像显示效果优越。
Active-matrix organic light emitting diode(AMOLED)has the advantages of low power,wide view-angle,good flexibility and so on.It is regarded as the key of the next generation display technology.Generally,the sub-pixel arrangement of AMOLED is RGBG,which does not match with the RGB arrangement of image.In order to realize image display,the research of RGB-to-RGBG is urgent.In this paper,an RGB-to-RGBG conversion algorithm based on weighting factor(BWF)has been proposed,and related integrated circuit is realized on FPGA(field programmable gate array).The gray level of each RGBG sub-pixel is represented by the weighted sum of the original gray levels.The weighting factors are calculated by minimizing the square error(SE).Furthermore,the color fringing artifact is significantly improved by using this method.The experiment shows that the PSNRU and PSNRV of image processed by BWF is 9.2% and 9.3% larger than that processed by DA,and the value of MSE(mean square error)is 19.5% lower than that of DA.The proposed algorithm has been implemented on FPGA.The results show that the displayed image by using the proposed algorithm has good visual effect.
