陶行知针对如何做人的话题而为学生讲演《学做一个人》,提出试问中国"有几个是整个的人"之疑虑,并就何为不完整的人、何为完整的人、怎样做一个完整的人等问题层层分析说明,其目的鲜明、清晰。人,自认为是万物之灵,其实始终处于未完成之中。毫无疑问,《学做一个人》还是"立德树人、全面发展"前提条件和坚实基石,但这未必是人人都可以处理好的人生命题。在今天上下皆重视青少年思想政治工作和成人成才的大背景下,我们可以从其中汲取什么借鉴和启示呢?这正是我们力图回应的话题和主题。

Tao Xingzhi delivered a speech ＂Learning to be a person＂, put forward the question of how many Chinese are ＂complete persons＂, and analyzed questions like what is a complete person, what is not, and how to be a complete person with distinct and clear purpose. People, claiming themselves spirit of everything in the universe, are not complete actually the whole time. There is no doubt that ＂learning to be a person＂ is the premise and foundation of ＂morality education and all-round development＂, but it is not a problem of life that everyone can handle. Today, under the background of attaching great importance to the ideological and political work of young people and cultivating talents, what can we learn from it？ This is exactly what we are trying to respond to.
