摘要
根据教育部对英语专业学生具备人文素养和跨文化交际能力的要求,以文化文学为根本,回归人文精神成为培养外语人才的标准。教师在课内外的教学实践中可以通过中西文化文学对比的方法来激发学生对人文知识的阅读和研究兴趣,使学生在学习掌握西方文学文化的同时也不忽视对本民族文学文化精髓的学习,培养人文精神和社会价值观,从而更有效地提升自身的人文素质。
In accordance with the Ministry of Education's requirement for English majors that they should be equipped with the quality of humanities accomplishment and the ability of cross-cultural communication, returning to the humanistic spirit, with culture and literature as the fundamentals, has become the standard of training foreign language talents. The teacher, in and after class, may stimulate the students' interest in reading and researching humanistic knowledge through the comparison between Chinese and Western cultures and literatures, making the students unable to neglect the learning of the essence of their own national literature and culture while acquiring Western culture and literature, thus helping cultivate their humanistic spirit and social values and so enhance their own humanistic quality more effectively.
