The Evolution and Interpretation of Spatial Meaning

空间的意义随着社会的发展不断演变,从关注绝对空间的形而上学空间观到关注空间生产的社会空间观和关注想象空间的诗性空间观。空间问题可以说是一个古老而又常新的问题,始终是人们关注的对象,西方学界在20世纪70年代甚至出现了称得上是人文社会科学和政治发展中重大事件的空间转向,而空间问题在国内学术界的关注还不够,所以,为了能够在充分了解此问题的基础上与西方对话,就非常有必要对空间意义的演进从形而上学空间观、社会空间观和诗性空间观三个主要的方面进行梳理和解读。

With the development of society, spatial meaning have evolved incessantly from metaphysical view of space which focuses on absolute space to social view of space which pays close attention to spatial production and poetic view of space which keeps a watchful eye on imaginary space. The issue of space with the old and unceasingly renewed characteristics is the object that people is concerned with all the time, even spatial turn, a significant event in the process of humanities and social sciences together with political development, occurred in 1970s in the academic world of western countries, whereas the issue of space hasn’t drew enough attention in Chinese academic world; therefore, it is of great necessity to summarize and interpret the evolution of spatial meaning from metaphysical view of space,social view of space and poetic view of space so as to have a conversation with the academic world of western countries based on thoroughly comprehending the issue of space.
