The rapid development of Internet technology in the 21st century has exerted a profound influence on people＇s life,learning and mode of thinking.Traditional radio and television can＇t meet the people＇s life demands.Its development has reached the inevitable stage of transformation to the pnew media.On the road of new media development,Internet technology takes up the important mission of delivering information and content.The paper analyzes the importance of Internet technology in the application of new media, states the current situation and development trend of Internet technology as well as new media.Based on the construction of Beidou TV system in Liaoning Radio and Television,the author further elaborates the far-reaching influence of Internet technology on the new media project and develops the new media in a scientific and reasonable way.
