寄宿制对农村留守儿童学习成绩的影响

摘要 借助有序logit回归,运用中国教育追踪调查数据探讨了寄宿制对农村留守儿童学习成绩的影响。结果发现,对于父母一方外出的留守儿童而言,在校住宿对他们的学习成绩有着显著的积极影响,但对于双亲外出留守儿童而言,在校住宿给他们的学习成绩带来的影响并不显著。究其原因,主要是双亲外出留守儿童自身较差的心理素质在某种程度上抵消了住校在学习方面给他们带来的正向影响。因此,农村寄宿制学校建设过程中,有必要从当地学校中挑选部分教师,对他们进行专门的心理学方面的培训以承担学校的心理健康教育工作,以此达到预防和化解学生心理问题的目的。 With the ordered logit model, the article analysizes the effect of boarding school on left-behind children's aca- demic achievements in rural China based on the data of China Education Panel Survey. It shows that boarding apparently promote the academic performance of children whose father or mother is absent. However, the impact on is not significant for children whose father and mother are absent. A possible explaination is that the poorer psychological status caused by separation of parents may eliminate the positive influence of boarding on thechildren's academic performance Thus, Thus, it may be an effective way for the local government to provide psychology training programmes for selected teachers to help prevent and solve the boarding-school students' psychological and mental problems.
