In recent years, English majors teaching have such problems as the weak subjective consciousness in learning, the obvious passive-learning tendency and the weak ability in autonomous learning. The teacher-student study guiding system is a beneficial attempt to solve these problems. The teacher-student study guiding system plays a unique role in cultivating talent in English majors with the teacher at class as the tutor, study guiding as an aid way, and takes such ways as practical elements including the principle to select and engage the tutor and the guiding student, the responsibility division between teachers and students and the system building relying on the autonomous learning theory, the double subjective theory and the multi-intelligence theory.
