The training and commanding of the variations in the classical ballets is the main course content of the whole professional ballet education system both in the classroom teaching and the stage practicing. This paper, comparing with the previous teaching textbooks, focuses on the research of the teaching materials of ballet variations, expounding the content of the teaching materials in details based on the specific case studies. The paper aims to influence on the other research on ballet teaching through discussing the developing orientations and contents of the teaching materials of ballet variations.
