摘要
作为中国早期的动物公园,广州动物公园具有特殊意义和应有的历史内涵。2002年,随着南越国宫署遗址的深入发掘,广州动物公园遗迹重现天日。从法领旧址收回及市府合署地址之选择、创建动物公园之提议及经过、动物收罗及公园名称之变更等三个方面具体论述近代广州动物公园创建的缘起、经过及意义。
As a China＇s early animal park, Canton Animal Park is undoubtedly highlights its special significance and historical connotation. In 2002, Canton animal park relics found with the deep excavation of Nanyue Palace Museum. This paper intends to discuss the origin, cause and meaning of modem Canton animal park from three aspects： recovery of the French consulate and location of the municipal government office, proposal of the animal park creation, and change of both animal collection and nmne of the park.
