The Chinese concessive compound clauses are divided into marked concessive compound clauses and unmarked concessive compound clauses. Due to not using the specific adversative words, with its flexible semanteme, the unmarked concessive compound clauses are always the difficulties in the field of concessive compound clauses. The "のに/but"is the representative adversative words of the Japanese counter-expectation and it is widely used. Besides,by using the corpus of Sino-Japanese translation,we have investigated the situation of translating the Chinese text into Japanese, and only find that the places in Chinese translated into Japanese "のに"concessive clauses turn accounted for 69. 2%. It illustrates that,in Chinese, when a speaker wants to show his strong emotion, such as surprise or discontentment, the unmarked concessive compound clauses may always be his first choice. This article will make a concrete analysis of the type of unmarked concessive compound clauses, and summarize the four kinds of useful expressions of Chinese counter-expectation concessive compound clauses.
